Non-Profit Real Estate Group GMDC Buys Factory Building East of Williamsburg

221 McKibben Street
Last week, Greenpoint Manufacturing and Design Center bought this beauty at 221 Mc Kibbin with a $4million grant.  GMDC plans to tranform it into at least 25 spaces for small manufacturers, creating more than 100 jobs for local folk.  They hope to be finished with this big boy in the latter part of 2007.  The Brooklyn Borough President's Office is even pitching in- a cool half million! Gotta love help from the pres...
