First Air Conditioner Created in Brooklyn

Did you know that the first air conditioner was invented in Brooklyn?  It was.  On this day in 1902,  the very first A/C was born at 1013 Grand Street during a heat wave- much like the one kicking our Brooklyn asses right now.  (That's Grand at Morgan, for those who are interested.)
