Brooklyn Slumlord Jailed for doing what slumlords do worse- everything!

Olufemi Falade was sentenced to jail time yesterday for not taking care of his damn buildings.  One of only four property owners to have ever been jailed for this reason in NY, Falade should finally get a dose of his own medicine, as rats and roaches have their way with him on the cell floor.

Slumlords have always been a problem in NYC- this is nothing new, but I say jail more of them.  They need to know what its like to like in a jail.  The only real difference is that tenants pay to live in the jails that slumlords own (and do not maintain).   Niether justiNYC nor LoftNinja will EVER rent an apartment that he wouldn't live in himself.  Brokers that work on properties owned by landlords of this type should be jailed too!
